Hi anonymous,
I haven’t heard that before and wasn’t able to find any reliable info to back it up. Just to be safe, I’ll remove the metal toy hangers attached to the end of the perches, which he sometimes plays with. Stewie doesn’t chew on any of the other hardware, so I’m not as concerned with those.

Puck was an amazing Budgie and I would like to know more about his vocabulary, but was never able to find the information. There are is another yet “slightly lesser known phenom” in the talking bird category.

I’ve seen reports of Wayne’s stands actually using harmful zinc fittings. Have you had a chance to inspect these for such?

He won’t allow me to place him in the sink, and he doesn’t get the concept of baths anywhere besides his drinking water. Otherwise I think it would be nicer to have him take showers in the sink, since that would give him more control over how wet to get and where.

I’ve been bringing Stewie into the shower now and he’s pretty okay with it. He hangs out on my arm so he’s not directly under the shower stream but gets wet via water bouncing off me and the walls. It takes him a long time to really start getting into it (i.e., lifting his wings and walking under the water)… often longer than I’m willing to spend in the shower if I’m getting ready for work

I’ve heard that Wayne is no longer going to deal with the public. He’s going to work through dealers. I don’t know where we can get replacement parts. I need them as well. Frustrating.
