I could never imagine anyone letting their dog get away with biting as much as parrot do, yet *I'm* the one apologizing to my bird if he bites *me*. Cage bottle, carrier cup, even MY drinking cup. He's fine with bath water, and loves when I spray or splash with him. It is as if he was cruelly denied water at some point. Since he's never been without water with me, I suspect it was something at the pet store, or an natural possessiveness of water.
